ATTN: Wickster! I made the magical 500 mark!
At 36deg I made 491.0rwhp @ 5500rpm and 548.2rwtq @ 2500-4500rpm
Then since I was so close, I did a little fine tuning... Twisted the distributor and backed it off about 2deg...
Then: [drumroll]
514.7rwhp @ 5500rpm and 570.4rwtq @ 2500-4600rpm
That was on 105-octane, 81F ambient, and best of 3 runs
I also had to lower the soft limiter to 6000rpm...

I didn't keep up with my dad as well as 515rwhp should, so i wonder if the nissan's making more than before...
or maybe the camaro is just a boat with the drag coefficient of a freightline

BTW, I can chirp 'em good into 3rd at 90mph... and my 4-speed is geared for 160
dont know if its the not-so-great tires or the power of the 383... i suspect it's a little of both...
either way, my camaro is an affront to God himself

I realize AWHP is lower than RWHP for cars with the same crank horsepower. If APS(Which I am a dealer for) can do 478 AWHP using just their parts and no standalone engine management, I can do 515 with the standalone ECU, and many parts that APS doesn't offer.
