Chipolte is GOOD.
Chipolte is GOOD.
I understand that you don't live in the Bay Area. Fine.
However, as best as I can ascertain, people who love Chipotle fall into two categories:
1. They've never driven to a Mexican* neighborhood.
2. They don't have enough Mexicans to warrant a Taqueria.
There are some folks in the Bay Area that do in fact, fall under categories 1 and 2, and they are people I usually loathe and despise. I don't mind if you live in a gentrified neighborhood, but don't tell me what's good.** Get into your car, suck it up, and drive into a different neighborhood.***
*80% of real Taquerias are run by Mexicans or Califorinos, not Iberian-Americans of other origins.
**These are often the same shitheels who tell me that Silver Oak is the bomb, and yet have never had Heitz Cellars, J, or any other better (and less-expensive) vino.
***Yes, there are REALLY bad parts of the Bay Area, but come on. . . driving somewhere where the median house price is under $900K isn't going to kill you.
