IMO the past disputes should have been private and not aired for the public...on both sides. That causes biases which shouldn't be there and has now led us to be more cliquish.

The corner is like work...there are always people you don't like, but you don't the right to make them feel unwelcome there. We used to be one big family...now it's lost the whole feeling of being a "safe place".

We all just need to try to not judge others...it really is as simple as that and it's simpler than most people make it out to be. If you don't like them...don't talk to them..but they have as much right to be here as anyone else.

 

Being a relative Newbie to the corner I find this thread quite a bold move.

Some people have been very welcoming indeed and we all appreciate that it takes time to understand, get along and apreciate everyone's sense of humour. That's inevitable. Life is always like that.

On the flipside at time it does deel a very closed environment. Talk of badges in particular.

So u need a badge to post here is the impression given, whether that is accurate or not it is still the impression. However u can't get a badge unless u post here a shed load.

Hmmm sounds like catch 22 to me.
