If it was anything like the 49ers/Packers game Joy and I went to, it was good getting in, lousy getting out, and the stadium was entirely unimpressive.


Then again, we didn't get Lady Gaga doing the national anthem.

8 weeks ago - donated every piece of information, save for urine and stool samples, to some website.
Saturday -
7:00am - Arrived at Great America parking lot, where we were greeted by 4 guys with M-16s and a Lenco armored vehicle.
8:00am - met group at parking lot, walked to the Convention Center.
8:30am - got credentials for the day
9:00am - got to the work site, setup, did test pics, tested the WiFi, checked the app continuity, and packed equipment for overnight storage at the stadium.
10:30am - went back to Convention Center, debriefed
11:00am - left Convention Center

Sunday -
5:30am - woke up
6:30am - left the house dressed in black
6:45am - got in conga line to get into Avaya Stadium
7:25am - parked, got into a line to get on a bus.
8:10am - got onto a school bus
8:35am - got off the bus behind the Convention Center
8:40am - got in line to get credentialed
9:05am - got credentials, waited for the rest of the crew from SF
9:40am - rest of the crew arrives - we split between stadium crew and convention center crew.
9:50am - enter line in security
10:00am - went through pat down, metal detector, and 3 passes of my credentials for the day, greeted by more M-16s and Humvees on our way to the job site
10:10am - get to the job site, begin setup, retest everything from yesterday.
10:15am - told that everything is %&@(ed entrance wise, job will start at 11:30, instead of 11.
11:25am - told to get the eff out of the way, because the Panthers are walking from the de-brief to the locker room.
11:30am - start job
1:30pm - told to get the eff out of the way, because the rest of the Panthers are walking through.
2:20pm - Aaron Rodgers gives me stink eye.
2:25pm - check in with supervisor. Pack up.
2:30pm - D-U-N Done.
2:34pm - meet Joy at my job site.
2:45pm - had a beer at the stadium - $15
3:15something - Alex Rodriguez out of nowhere.
3something - listen to Lady GaGa sing National Anthem. Listen to Blue Angels fly by.
3:30pm - watched a football fly over everybody's head as they were standing up.
4:10pm - got bus back to Avaya
. . . and we got to our favorite bar just before Halftime.

My partner had a camera, and I had a touchpad. Mr. Rodgers was either worried we were going to photograph him, or that I was going to try and tackle him.
