Unkie...Why do old people like Clay Aiken so much?
He reminds them of the young starlets on Lawrence Welk. . . that's my best guess.

The reason I ask:

In my top gear magazine, they did an uber-saloon test that was for that reason. Business professionals to be seen (or not seen) in downtown London. They had a S63AMG, Jag XJ SuperSport L, BMW 760iL, A8L.

I priced out an S63 AMG... it's $150 FUCKING GRAND!! I then priced out a Masi QP GT-S fully optioned out how I'd like.. $143k. Why would you spend $150k on a Mercedes? At that price-point I wouldn't be buying a Merc. Masi's have way more status IMO (even if it is .4 seconds slower).

Thoughts?

The Masi is sweet ... saw a few down in WPB a couple weeks ago. Mercs were everywhere ... so the Masi stood out.

And a Ferrari motor to boot

Dear Unk,
I'm hungry and people here at work are insulting my shoes. I'm thinking about eating my shoes. What wine would you recommend?
A hearty New World Rhone blend. The Holy Trinity is a personal favorite, although due it's ever-increasing popularity, it's getting less cheap:

Also who do you like in the NL East this year?
Washington. If they're in last place, my offering them a fair wage to do drywall in the off season wont' seem too ridiculous.

I didn't give my mom your address. . .I just told her to "get lost, I'm fapping." That she happened to come across your place isn't that surprising.

She caught me and Antonella doing the Monroe Transfer. . . for that, I'm sorry. . . sorta. . .

. . . I figure she'd wanna know why I have rubber sheets. . .

The evidence either points to an emphatic, "Yes!" or, "Holy Shit, he took a question and turned it into more medium lulz than I had anticipated. . . I'll keep reading."

IIRC, the Merc, along with the other cars in that comparo, all have notably bigger rear seating areas.

The Maser, (once again, IIRC), runs to almost 5-series seating.

Also, note that the AMG is fully-loaded, where the Maser's price can still go higher (although, admittedly, not by much).

Now, honestly, you live in Fremont, you should know why you need to own a Mercedes. . . gold, with gold trim. . . or maybe red with gold trime. . . white works too. . . regardless, you KNOW why. . .
I detailed a QP once. It's actually quite roomy. But you are right, the other cars have a bit more backseat space.

And I fully loaded a QP with everything the Merc had, and it was $3k less

It's true. I've seen a few new S63's and even an S65 and never thought about them being $120+k
