Do you have experience with both? I'm seriously going back and forth between the two styles. Contemplating either a Monster (2000 or newer...including new), a Suzuki DRZ 400SM or a Yamaha WR250X...
Experience with the spermoto but no experience with the monster but I have known some people that own them and they like them.

It really depends what you want from the bike. A supermoto isn't going to reel in the chicks but the monster might. If you're just going for the way the two ride then the supermoto is way more fun to ride.

Supermoto=S2000
Monster=Porsche Boxter

Two Diets and Bourbon, then switch over to the beer.

Why?
A bike for many seasons. based on what I've seen. It has a style factor. . . which is why you're even considering an Italian bike. . . right?

Thanks for the input. Not looking to pick up chicks, just looking for a fun bike to ride. I think the struggle I have is that, as much as I like the way an S2000 drives, they've never been comfortable. The Boxter is more comfy, but less precise.

I'll keep pondering...but thanks.

Considering it because it's beautiful AND comfy...
