UT: What do you think of the Specialized TriCross lineup?

I've given up on my Trek. It's a black cloud that I want out of my life. I need to replace it and given my apparent propensity for blowing up tires, the TriCross seems like something that might actually survive my use...

The first thing I would advise is using a model number that registers at toshiba's website.

Sorry,

Toshiba MK4026GAX

I think it may be an IDE and not a SATA but then,
I'm not too bright on these things...

Either of the lower-end triples look promising. . .

Just to out my bike/brand, there is a Felt 95X

Otherwise, you're gonna have to go down some weird route involving a fixie frame mountain bike rims and motorcylce tires.

I'll need a picture of the old dongle and hard drive to really make an assessment.

My advice is to either buy a new laptop and/or to take it to a professional repair place.

Laptops are evil in general for this reason.

That's the number of the hard drive, not the laptop.

I would send a pic but S2KI ain't feeling the love for my phone.

The laptop is a Dell.

You should be able to replace it with any ATA drive. Check the labels carefully at the store.

It would be well-advised to replace it with a Toshiba, just so that you're integrating "in good faith."

I'm doing okay. . . the days have been consumed with work, cycling, women, and work. I could complain, but I'd be pissing against the wind. . .
