Taos comes highly recommended. Great wine/food/and art. Beautiful scenery as well.

I'm to understand there's good hiking and mountain biking as well.
I will look into Taos. At least it is close enough. I know my wife and I were looking to go up there to snow skiing last year. At least I know I will be able to this year.

I spent some time up at the Ghost ranch near there. Fun easy raft trips, beautiful O'Keeffe country and easy living.

Still looking for some things to do.

Tired of carrying a gun around and wearing my uniform with sleeves down in 120 heat.
