Default Aaarrrrrghhhh!!!!!! My Worst Nightmare Is Realized!!!!!

Slap me in the morning and focking WALK AWAY!!! MY STOOK GOT TAPPED! Son of a BITCH!. *cough cough* I can't believe it... I am so pissed This is the first time I've ever started a new thread but frankly, I didn't know what else to do. NOW WTF do I do? I am going to slap my dad upside the head when I get home...He had absolutely NO REASON to have that car out...Let alone to go to the MALL. What should I do? I have half a mind to make him buy it off me and get a new one. The worst part about it is the car is registered and insured to ME. And since I am not there if I make a claimm how the hell do I tell them it was HIM that was driving...they'll drop me for sure.

Oh, just for irony....Corner (my car) got tapped in the parking lot...FOCKING HARD.....right in the driver's side rear corner.....how appropriate

THANKSgiving my azz!

Most reputable policies allow for other folks to occasionally drive your vehicle.
I would call them and ask. Worse case scenario is that they either don't cover it, or they do cover it and your rates will go up (personally I have never experienced a rate hike for either an accident or speeding ticket). You should definitely look into getting a new father though.

Really sorry to hear about this. It is one of my worst fears as well. In fact, I usually park way way WAY out on the back forty.

Let me know how it turns out!!!

oh you mean besides my car? He has a Ram pickup for work and a later model T-bird....Sometimes he takes out one of my cars..but never alot...especially the 300SL that one never leaves the garage for more than a mile at a time.....I think he took more liberty with Corner because she is supposed to be a daily driver and not a collection piece...It's not that he drives it...it's that he drives it ALOT! he's put well over 4k on the odo since I bought it like, three months ago? four? I just don't know why he had to take it to the MALL...that's just beggin for some dumbass in a Suburban, dragging the elderly underneath them unknowingly, to smack my poor little S2000. Judging by the description of the damage (the driver side tailight is in the trunk basically) it had to be a large SUV....the ground clearance is too much for a car....

Sorry Jim...that sucks!

Sounds like you had better talk with your dad about driving it so much. Wouldn't the dent be a comprehensive claim? I don't think those count against you too badly.

If I was driving it? Yes. But my dad is not on my insurance for the S2000 (it was never supposed to be in CT this long) so I don't know if 1) Geico will cover it or 2) whether they will drop my policy because an unlisted driver was responsible. My cousin Steve lost his insurance once when his future wife was rear-eneded.....the accident wasn't her fault at all, but because she was not a listed driver the insurance company cancelled on him.
