I work in the NBC Tower in Chicago, and 4 F-18s are flying around out side, making a lot of noise.
They are the Blue Angels, rehearsing for the Chicago Air and Water show tomorrow , and appear to be flying awfully close to the buildings below.

 

Hmmm .. I work near the Hillsboro Airport in Oregon, and the Thunderbirds are flying around right now making alot of noise for the Oregon Rose Festival Air Show ...

 

Do you guys alternate every year between the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds? I believe that's what happens here.

 

A couple of weeks back was the Moffet Air Show. I work about 5 miles south. We were distracted for a while on the friday before the show by the F-18E SuperHornet practicing his demo. Good stuff.

 

THunderbirds are better, but I'd love to have either of them practice near my house year round.

 

I like the thunderbirds because I like the f-16 more than the f-18. But they never seem to come down to florida.

 

I've always thought Blue Angels were better because the Navy had better pilots than the Air Force. I suppose it's all pretty subjective though.

 

Uh, Navy is good at floating, Air Force is good at flying
