Ugh. The wind shifted. The air from the fire in Azusa is terrible! It wreaks of smoke.

Ouch. I'm in Seattle helping my mom and they say 98° on Sunday. It is hot for Seattle and mom has no central air or window units. I will be hot and my mom will have sweats on.

We have 109 right now and it's suppose to get to 110 or 111 today(111 yesterday) and we might get 13 days in a row of 100 or more. Fun, fun, fun can't wait till I get my electric bill, first time I've ran my AC all night that I can remember in the 40 years I've lived in this house. I know I'm not shutting it off tonight either. Woke up and my house was 75 and with it 109 outside it's still only 76 inside. Wife's cancer drugs makes it tough on my wife when it gets to hot, and anything over 90 is to hot now. Sacramento does get hot but not this hot for this long, and we had a light rain today when the temp was in the low 90's. Never seen that in Sacramento in the 65 years I've lived here. First Covid-19 now this heat(with some rain) whats next, Locust.

Rod

We all think we have something to complain about & then I read this you kinda put things into perspective Rod I hope you are able to keep your wife comfortable and sorry to hear of her having cancer, many things this year have SUCKED as we all know
hears to hoping she stays comfortable & well as possible dealing with Cancer has to be challenging I'm sure

I saw a hand painted sign a couple months ago when driving thru a small town behind us that read 2020 SUCKS pretty true IMO

Hang in there

They said on the news tonight that a bunch of new fires have been started by lightning and of course the very dry conditions. You all be safe out there.
