Amazon doesn't ship to Cantada?
amazon.com ships a very limited number of things to Canada. amazon.ca has a fraction of the selection of items. Basically bookies, movies, music, some electronics and home stuff.
Don't you have any friends in DeToilet?

Ya, but it's a pain to go over just to pick something up. Plus I don't want to pay duty. And I'm not lying. I'd like to keep my Nexus card

If I get caught smuggling, it's unlikely border services would still consider me a "trusted traveller." I like skipping the long lines at the border, especially in the summer. There have been a few occasions when I've claimed stuff in the regular lanes (with non-Nexus cardholders) and not had to pay duty, but I don't want to count on that!
