06 warning light question

Default 06 warning light question
What does it mean when my dash displays a little wrench and the message "Engine oil life 15%," rather than the usual information? My oil was changed 1,000 miles ago.

Maybe you can get the dealer to do another oil change for free so they can reset the light and have it be accurate....





This is why I cange my own oil!

Just reset the indicator and change the oil 1k miles earlier than your normal interval

It's not intervals though...it keeps track of how the car is driven now...

The very same thing happened to a BMW owner I know. They changed his oil again and reset the light.
