VA: Stock 2005 Yellow AP2 w/ 75k mi, $23.4k
Hi all,
For sale in the Richmond, VA area is my 2005 Honda S2000 with ~76k miles (will increase slightly as I'll continue to drive the car while it's listed). Overall, the car is in great condition. It needs nothing in terms of fixes or urgent maintenance, and is almost 100% stock (only minor reliability and livability mods). It has been garage parked for its whole life and has never seen snow, so it's rust free, and the soft top is in very good condition, with no rips or tears. Interior is also in very good condition, although the driver's seat does have a bit of normal wear (see pics; no tears). This is a two owner car that was babied by its original owner and has been well taken care of since I bought it in 2016 as well. The only real downside to this car is that it's been in an accident that resulted in some driver's side damage to the panels (happened many years ago before I owned the car) which has been replaced mostly with filler by professionals. There is a very slight small dent on the driver's side door (pictured).
The sale should be very straightforward on my end, as I own the title is owned free and clear. I don't want to haggle too much (price of $23.4k is relatively firm but I will entertain offers). The car drives great and has been amazing to own, but I would like to try out some newer cars eventually, such as the ND miata (in front of this crowd, that may not be the best sounding reason for selling ).
Modifications
Thanks,
Geoff

Modifications
- Alpine head unit (to add livability by improving the car's sound quality and adding bluetooth)
- Modifry DCI (to retain the radio controls after head unit install and add variable speed volume capability)
- Modifry cupholder (can easily be removed)
- Motor oil and filter changed every 5k miles; clutch fluid reservoir drained and refilled with turkey baster on most oil changes
- Transmission and differential fluid changed a few years ago in 2017 at ~62k miles
- Valves adjusted by dealer in 2018
- Timing chain tensioner replaced with a Ballade Sports TCT in 2018
- New drive belt in 2018
- Coolant changed in 2018
- Spark plugs changed in 2018
- Brake fluid gravity bled ~2 years ago
- Tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sports with ~5k miles on them (should have plenty of life left)
- Battery replaced in 2021
- Alignment is halfway between the UK spec and the stock recommendation
Thanks,
Geoff

Based on the current US market this car seems bargain priced! Guessing it won't be here long.
Spa Yellow: 2001-2003 ("AP1")
Rio Yellow: 2004-2009 ("AP2")
Unless it's a repaint.
