I've owned this car for a year and half and bought it at 177k miles, the previous owner drove it mostly highway on his commute to work the carfax shows consistent mileage. My initial plan for the car was to keep it throughout college and sell it when I graduate for a lower mileage CR, things changed and I need money for my next semesters. The car has some typical mods nothing that isn't reversible, I am flexible on the price and if there are parts on it that you're not interested in I am able to reduce the price accordingly and put the stock part back. I think its priced well enough to where if you bought it you could return it to stock and have a great working s2k for cheap and sell the mods. All mods were bought new with receipts for every part on this car.
MODS:
Ohlins DFV
Spoon solid rubber motor mounts
rpf1 17x9 +45 less then 1k on tires
Euro spec floor mats
Momo 350mm monte carlo wheel
NRG quick release hub
Stop tech slotted rotors, ss brake lines, pads less then 1k
amis garage metal shift collar
BNIB not installed, koyorad aluminium raditor, and spoon sports transmission brace and rubber mounts
oem deck wing
OEM Maintenance :
@177k valve adjustment at Dennis Hall in knox tn.
@177k new spark plugs
@177k rear diff fluid, transmission fluid
@ 185k new clutch master and slave cylinder
every 3k miles oil changed with mobil 1 high mileage with oem filters
The previous owner had replaced the soft top and re-bolstered the leather seats before selling it, no rips or tears in the interior or in the soft top.
Cons:
VSA/airbag light came on when I installed the hub and steering wheel, doesnt effect how it drives.
The arm rest leather piece was missing so I tried to make my own, it looks homemade. BUT, new ones are 40$ from redline so its not the end of the world.
the trunk has 4 holes from the oem deck wing, right now they're covered so no leaks. but if you install the oem wing back they wont be noticed.
This is my 2nd s2000, even though it has 190k on the clock it still drives as well as my previous with 45k. this would be a great car for someone looking to get into a great s2k for cheap or someone looking to start a track build. I love this car, I only ever filled up with 100% 93 gas for it no 10% ethanol bologna, if it wasn't for finishing school being my first priority I would be keeping it, I take great care of my car and I hope it shows to the next owner, If you have any questions or want to see some more detailed pictures of anything specific on the car just text or call, if you want someone local to look at it or want to bring tools to do a compression test im confident my car will show great. I still have all of the stock parts Ive removed and everything listed will come with the car at the listed price. The pictures are a bit wonky, feel free to text with any questions or pictures, thanks for reading my ad have a great day.
