Stunning SOS Supercharged CR with 58K GA
SOLD
Pre Script
Up for grabs is a stunning CR for cheap. After tons of time and money, the car is finally finished. It is the perfect buy for someone that does not want to invest 50K like it cost me. Only the finest parts and tunning were used for this car. All parts were installed with the up most professionalism. It runs like a top, and has been 100% reliable while I’ve owned it. The only reason I am selling it, is because I am looking to purchase an exotic.
The Car
I bought this 2008 CR about three and a half years ago. I bought it for 29k out the door with 35k miles on it. It is #258 out of 690. This CR had the additional options of AC and radio added from the factory. I left it bone stock all the way up to its transformation.
The Transformation
The philosophy of the transformation was to add a bunch of power, while covering all of the other bases. The key fundamental aspect of the project was reliability. Though there are plenty of much faster s2ks, I am perfectly happy with a reliable 440whp+ daily. I chose going with a supercharger as the power is predictable, and that’s a characteristic I wanted to retain in this track oriented CR. The transformation started about 2years ago, and and was completed a few months back. With absolutely no expenses spared for the following parts were professionally added:
Cooling
• Koyo Radiator
• Koyo 1.3kg/something Radiator Cap
• WaterWetter & gallons of DI Water
• Header Wrap
• SOS Race Heat Exchanger
Power
• SOS Stage 2 Supercharger Kit with the following upgrades: ID 1000cc injectors, 4bar map, Special SOS optioned polished Novi1200, Polished after cooler ($300 extra for polished option), 15 psi 3.4” pulley, Racing Heat exchanger
• J’s Racing Header
• J’s Racing TestPipe
• Challenge Street Exhaust (Took 6 months to arrive)
Braking
• Wilwood, 6 Piston, Superlite big brake kit.
• 3mm Akata spacers for caliper clearance on CR wheels (bbk specific)
• Standard to Metric fittings, and SS Washers (bbk specific)
• SOS SS braided brake lines
• 3qrts Motul RBF 600
Suspension
• KW Variant 2 Coilovers (Which on their current setting of 11 out of 18 feels essentially identical to the stock CR suspension)
Wheels & Tires
• Stock CR rims
• New Enkei RPF1 Gold 17x8+45 and 17x9+45
• Nitto NT01 D.O.T. Radials (1/3-1/2 life left, these only last 6-10k miles)
Supporting Mods
• SOS Clutch with Honda T/O bearing
• New AP1 OEM Flywheel
• Amsoil Synchromesh MTF
• NGK BKR8EIX Spark Plugs
• Amsoil Dominator 10w-30
• Walbro 255 which replaced the Aeromotive 340 I started with.
• Fuel Pump Relay mod
• Saikoumichi Dual Oil Catch can setup.
Electronics
• Hondata Flashpro
• AEM Boost Gauge
• AEM A/F Gauge
• SOS Gauge Pod
• SOS 4bar Map Sensor
Diff Support (lol)
• Amsoil Severe Gear
• J’s Racing Magnetic Plug with safety wire hole
Tuning Baseline E-tune by Jeff Evens

Weight
Track scales confirmed (+/-5lbs) is 2705 with 1/3 tank of gas.
HP
445whp Corrected, 43Xwhp Uncorrected. I believe torque was 29X at the tire.

Traction
As powerful and light as this thing is, I would highly recommend sticking to the NT01’s despite their 6-10k life. The 300tread wear performance summer tires I had on before would spin anything under 100mph. Those summer tires were used while tunning the car, and it was spinning in the top of 4th on the dyno. They had to put 4 X 5gallon water jugs in the trunk to keep it from spinning at 100mph. It was dangerous on the street, however the 80 treadwear gummybear like NT01s are dangerous in the rain as they have basically no treads. (Infact, when having them mounted, I got refused by Bridgestone, because they were “used and balled” stating they don’t install used tires. I pointed out the stickers that were still on the new track tires, but still got declined by the idiot manager). Anyways, I would recommend either the NT01s or lowering the HP for street tires.
Conclusion
The car runs and drives absolutely flawlessly as expected. Puttering around town is quite like stock, but after 5k rpms it becomes ridiculous. Predictable but ridiculous. With well over 400whp, it makes me giggle every morning going to work. Its not a show car, so there are a couple of dings and scratches here and there from the first owner, but great condition none the less. The car itself only has 58ish-K miles. For the people that are shopping for a modified s2000 or a car to track, this is your ticket. The quality of work done on this CR is second to none to the factory. Absolute fun, absolute reliability (I have no concerns on driving coast to coast 10 times over). This car would be ideal for a track monster, or just a very very fast dd.
Post script:
I have 100% of all stock components (CR suspension/Exhaust/ Wheels/ brakes/ intake/ header/ cat etc..) every nut and bolt. EVERYTHING is included in this sale. That means if you wrench, you can return it back to stock in a solid weekend, then sell the aftermarket stuff and have a clean CR for around 15k if you wanted.
Price: 28k FIRM (I don’t negotiate, so I reflect that in my pricing, which is my bottom price. )
SOLD
Thanks, Voya

Part out? F that, if this was local I would jump on it! Don't really want to make the 24 hour ride back home with another S2000 again but man it's tempting. Very nice car and mods, good luck not that it's needed this won't last.

Bump for doing it right. I only have a fake CR but a lot of my setup is identical to yours. I got my 08 for a steal with only 1694 miles about 2 years ago but if i hadn't, this would be mine by the time I finished posting this.
