SOLD! OH 2003 Suzuka 2667 miles! $23,500 FIRM SOLD!

History:
A middle age man bought the car new for his wife and she drove the car to work a few miles down the road on nice days. The husband sold me the S2000 after she became unable to drive the car due to medical reasons.
I purchased the car on 10/5/13 with 2028 miles.
Details:
A beautiful Suzuka Blue
I am the second owner. Both “mature” adult owners.
The S2000 is a completely original, well documented, meticulously maintained AP1 in GREAT condition.VIN stickers are in place on all body panels.
The car is like new and has factory front and rear spoilers as well as the side strakes. This S2000 has always been garaged, never raced, never smoked in and never driven in the rain. It has always been stored in the winters.
The car has brand new Bridgestone RE-11A’s (purchased 4/2/14 at 2200 miles) and a new Honda battery purchased and installed 6/2/14. Other than that and the Kodokan seat locks, the car is completely original and never modified in any way. There have been no accidents or issues with the car. It runs and drives absolutely like new. The top is like new. The wheels are almost perfect.
Documentation:
I have all the original paperwork, my maintenance records, the original dealer paperwork, the owner’s manual and the original window sticker
I paid cash for the S2000 and have the clear title in hand.
Car Includes:
·The car comes with the 2 original master keys (one never used) and one original valet key. The dealer stock tag and key number tag are still attached.There are also the 2 original remote entry transmitters (one never used).
·Original tonneau cover – never used.
·Original floormats – look like new.
·Original spare tire, jack and lug wrench - never used.
Unscheduled maintenance:
* Battery replacement with Honda 31500-SB2-100M on June 2, 2014
(original battery still worked at the time).
* New Bridgestone RE-11A’s at 2,200 miles on April 2, 2014
(original tires were still brand new and showed no signs of aging. Replaced for safety since they were 11 years old)
Routine maintenance:
Honda parts have been used for routine maintenance that includes:
·Oil change on 10/18/13 with 2165 miles on the car using the Honda filter and Valvoline Maxlife oil (since not ready for synthetic oil).
On 11/18/13 at 2190 miles all recommended S2KI service performed using Honda fluids including:
·Power flush cooling system
·Rear differential fluid change
·Change transmission oil
·Grease and torque axle bolts
·Spark plugs torqued to 18 ft./lb.
·Under carriage bolts torqued
Mechanical Issues: None. Car is like new.
Interior: The car is mint including the seats, mats, carpet, dash, instruments, door panels, etc.
I have installed the Kodokan seatlocks and have the original bolts.
The interior would be rated 10 of 10.
Exterior: There are just a couple of small marks on the car. There are no chips at all on the front end from stones. The convertible top is great.
Wheels are 10 of 10.
The exterior would be rated 9.95+ of 10.
Undercarriage:
Everything looks brand new

Reasons for Selling:
I have been thinking about this for months and it is a very tough decision. My wife is not a car person and I drive it so few miles because of the weather in Cincinnati and being retired, I only make short trips to the gym and to visit friends. I really enjoy the S2000, but I need to let someone else have the privilege of owning this beautiful car.

Man, if this car was another color combo, I'd consider buying it just because it so damn pristine. I don't need 2 s2ks, but this one would be worth it (sans color; my opinion).

The car looks great and the pictures are a mix of photos at about 2200 miles and very recent. If someone has a serious interest, I can take photos of every panel and every angle.
The car looks better now than when I bought it since I take such good care of it with the best products (Pinnacle Souveran Pate Wax, Wolfgang, Zymol, RaggTop).
Personally, I think the color is great.

I get lots of compliments on the Suzuka Blue and thumbs up when I'm on the road. I think Honda came up with some great colors on the S2000. Suzuka Blue was the second most popular color in 2003 and every year it was produced with the exception of the last year, 2006. It was definitely not the least desirable color combo.
