Up for sale, one Berlina black '00 S2000, about 62,700 miles at the moment. I bought it in 2006, and have decided to let it go to a new home.
Car is mostly stock, has stainless brake and clutch lines, smoked JDM corners, plus tan carpet and door panel inserts and Clazzio black/tan seat covers. The airbox baffle is cut out. To my knowledge, the car has not been in any accidents- bumpers have the vin tags and such.
Mechanically, the car is fine. Never had any problems with it. Retorqued the axle nuts last year. Replaced the starter about a month ago after the old one squealed a few times in the Polar Vortex. Springs and struts are '04-05 with about 30k on them.
There are some cosmetic issues. If you want a show-quality car, this isn't it. If you want a daily driver you don't have to be nervous about, take a look. There are about half a dozen minor dings in various places. The front bumper has some curb rash along the bottom, and there are a few scrapes on the body. A good detailer could fix up the light scratches in the clearcoat. The valve cover and the battery holder are flaking.
Soft top is the original plastic window top, but it is in good condition- no rips or tears in the fabric or the window. It spent the last 7 years either under the hardtop or out of the car.
Hardtop was purchased new from HTG back in 2007. All original, never repainted or wrapped. I have the defroster harness, but it's currently not installed since I'd rather have the coin slot. I can reinstall it in about 20 minutes.
Wheels are the stock AP1s, with some mild curb rash on two of them. Tires are some generic all-seasons, nothing special.
