I am not actively looking for a car right now, but have had 3 S2000s, sold them all via autotrader, etc. Also looking a new car prices a bit (and disappointed in the CR, BTW).
FWIW, I think you are asking too much. I could walk out of a showroom with a brand new 2007 for under 30k, inclduing ttl. To buy your car, someone still has to pay tax in their home state, etc, and it is a year older, so you ar simply asking too much. Another price point - without even negotiating, local dealer offered me a CPO '03 with 35k miles for under $20k. That matches your leftover warranty, a few more miles, AP1 (which some, including me, like) and saves some $$.
At this point, it is almost a 2 year old car. 08s will be out in a few months (what, August?), and 07s are on teh market used and new at great discounts.
Put it on autotrader with a lower price and OBO. If you don't get what you want for it, keep it.
Good luck.

stedge hit it right on the head, unfortunately... with 07's selling for 29K and 30K, a "used" 06 is "worth" even less now. Sucks you have to sell, LBP is one of my favorite colors. I think if you lowered it to 25.5K or so you'd have it sold in a hearbeat! Good luck with your sale, looks clean.
