Story:
7/5/2008, Mileage 66,700: Purchased from Southern Caifornia member on s2ki (Jason: jdmkings). I believe he was the 4th owner. 5 years later, I've put on 35k+ miles, ~7000 miles/yr average.
11/1/2009, Mileage: 79,605 I purchased new from SOS and installed the stage 1 SC with AC & the Sport Clutch Kit. Therefore, car was boosted for 3 yrs, 7 months and ~23000 miles.
My Driving style: baby the car 90% of the time, while opening it up every so often. No tracking or stop-light racing ever.
The good:
I take my maintenance on the car very seriously. Regular maintenance all done by myself: Mobil 1 5w-30 Full synthetic engine oil, Mobil 1 Synthetic Gear Oil 75w90 for the differential, Honda OEM Manual tranny fluid, and Honda OEM Brake Fluid to name some. I have very detailed records I can share with you, just ask. No major accidents. The car has been garaged it's entire time I've owned it. The top is in pretty good condition, with a few very small slits that have been patched with "black hole patch" (search s2ki for more info).
The bad (really not that bad though):
Front bumper has clear rock chips from 100,000 miles of driving. The hood and front fender also has some rock chips from this much driving. Rear bumper was replaced (see above, though it may be considered a good thing I guess). Rear trunk panel has a few dents in it.
The ugly (referred to as cosmestic damage from the body shop that inspected it):
The original owner has the car towed. The tow-man hooked his tow to a hole that starts in front of the frame rail and ripped it. Let me be clear, it is not the frame rail that is damaged. Not sure why the owner did not have the tow company pay to have it fixed, but this is what was communicated to me by the seller.
Here's my topic thread on s2ki.com regarding this: http://goo.gl/P22MJ
Again, I can provide pictures.
Locals: If you're interested, I can show the car daily (I'm pretty free this summer as I'm a school teacher).
Out of towners, email me and we can talk if you're serious.
