The extra price is for the extra factory warrenty frrom American Honda. Basicly ANY problem with the mechanics of the car- HOnda will repair it.

One example: As you know- the rear plastic of the S2000 from year 2000-02 is not glass. Over the years- the rear plastic begins to creased up- I wrote a letter to Cerritos Honda and CC the document over to American Honda of the safety concern I had.
With the extended warranty- they replaced the entire rear of the convertible top.
