THINKING about selling my 2000 AP1 S2000 ("Thinking" as in I do NOT HAVE to sell it, so no low ball offers). I have put a lot of work into this car, all work done by me with the exception of tuning. I'm not a shortcut type of mechanic, I put a lot of pride and time into my work so things are done right the first time. The car drives just fine. I've driven to Columbus and back with no problems; I would not hesitate to take the car anywhere. Car body has about 108,000 miles. Engine has 35,000 miles and I just refurbished it and check internals before install and also went ahead and replaced the weak AP1 retainers with a full AP2 head assembly. The internals of the motor are clean and nothing out of the ordinary going on inside. New head gasket and ARP piston cap bolts and head bolts were installed. Like I said, 108k miles, so the outside of the car has its blemishes, chips, etc; but overall I'd say 7.5 out of 10 because I'm picky about things. There's no rust on the car anywhere, everything is in very good condition. I've put 1.5-2k miles on it since it's been tuned and no problems, cruise control works. The tune is very conservative, if pushed more, you will have no problem making 400+ hp with tuning alone, nothing else is needed. I just wanted to keep it safe. I am currently deployed and will be home mid-September. So if you have an iPhone/iPod/iPad you can txt me at 724-Four 5 Six-77Nine3. I probably won't answer quickly as wifi is limited where I'm at, but as soon as I can I will reply. If you don't have iMessenger from those devices, then email the craigslist email link and I'll get to you that way. Asking 20,500 OBO, again, no lowballs, I know how much I have into the car. Im wanting a hatchback STi, thats the only reason for getting rid of my baby. Local pickup or meet up possibly. Here is the list of mods.
