Default MD - 2001 Spa Yellow Pearl S2000 44k miles $14,000 OBO

First Name: Matt
Price: $14,000 OBO
Location: Columbia, MD
Contact: PM me
Details about the Car: Up for sale is my low mileage 2001 Spa Yellow Pearl S2000. This AP1 S2000 is sitting at just over 44k miles and is 90% stock. Fresh oil and coolant. Recent (09/2019) Blackstone oil analysis was perfect (see attached report). I have listed all the flaws of the car below. Feel free to PM me with any questions. I am happy and available to show the car to serious buyers; however, I will only be available on Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Mods:
-AP2 wheels (painted white by previous owner)
-K&N air intake (sounds great)
-Mishimoto aluminum radiator
-Soft top (not sure of brand as it was changed by a previous owner; however, it is of a dark, canvass type material and has a glass window)
-JDM-style AP1 headlights w/ clear diffusers
-JDM-style red Honda emblems
-Spoon lowering springs
-Aftermarket head unit w/ bluetooth voice capability

Pros:
-The car drives great and the motor runs well. Zero issues with the operation of the car (which is expected given the low mileage)
-The few aftermarket parts on the car of high quality
-Interior is 8/10 (normal wear in the seats, etc.)
-Exterior is 7-8/10 (see below)
-Overall, this car is a great low-mileage base if you plan on tracking and/or modifying the car. If you're looking for a garage queen or a time capsule S2000, this isn't it.

Cons:
-Car has two separate keys for operation (One key for ignition and a separate key for the door and trunk locks) and comes with an unprogrammed key FOB
-Paint crack in the front bumper and a rock chip on the hood that was covered by the previous owner with poorly-matched touch-up paint (see pics)
-One of the lowering springs needs some adjusting as it sometimes makes a noise ONLY when the car goes from stationary to moving (no sounds while the car is in motion)

I apologize if this is obvious, but why would there be two different keys?

If your ignition lock seized or your door lock cylinder seized Honda won't give you one thats coded to your original key. They give you a different one and a different key. If you're extremely lucky it'll end up being the same. Alternatively you can bring it to a lock smith and have it recoded.
