I need a beater...not over $2000, anyone selling in New Jersey or nearby???
Title says it all...not looking to spend a lot of money, looking for something reliable, doesn't need to be flashy.

Yeah thats def not a beater, but I could bein the market for a regular car soon, just have to get my new investment house rented out...then I'll have some cash.

how about a 1990 accord for 2.5k its not me selling it but a friend. 4 door he works at a body shop he re did the whole car less than 8 months ago. I mean the car is mint inside and out. I want to buy it cause i need a beater too but due to my current search for a co op to buy i am saving my funds for a down payment then i am buying a beater. If you need more info on this car let me know. He lives in NJ works in the bronx right next to my apt.

Doesn't sound like a bad car, is he willing to come down a bit?
It may be a week or two til I can buy so if it doesn;t sell in that period of time, then yes I would come take a look...

i dont know he wanted 3k because the cost of the paint (not to him of course cause he did it himself) would be $1800. If i find a co-op under my price range of 100k and i can save some money i will prob get it. He really doesnt want to sell it you should see this guy wash his car, you ll think its a lexus the way he washes it. lol I talked him down from 2.8 to 2.5k last week but now with this issue of me wanting an apt of my own by july1 my bd is delaying it. My car is going turbo soon so i do need a beater. But might have to wait a month or tow.
