SadlyI am forced to sell my 2003 honda S2000. It is Silverstone (the darker grey/silver) with black leather interior, I just rolled over 51000 miles(kelly blue book says 49000 is normal for a car that old so I guess it isn't too high.), I am a firefighter and had to commute on the freeway almost two hours each direction. I would normally cruise at about 80-85 because there is no traffic that early in the morning and I have gotten 25-30 mpg sometimes over 320 miles per tank i think intake and exhaust helped the milage. I hate to get rid of this car because it is a true drivers car and it has been babied. I have never taken it to the track and have changed the oil and filter every 3000 miles. It does make you wish that there were more curved roads out there and more time to drive them. I am the second owner and it is immpecable inside and out. The only blemish is a small tear in the convertible that has been patched. It is behind the passengers convertible clamp and is hard to notice. It doesn't leak at all and the patch is only visible from inside. Other than that the car is mint, I washed it almost everyday I went to work and depending on weather I usually waxed it once a week as well as detaling the top and the interior and the engine bay. The interior is pristine as well with not a scratch tear or stain anywhere I am very anal and never ate or drank in the car and it has spent most of it's time in the garage at home and under covered parking at work.
Tha car has full stainless invidia catback exhaust and AEM cold air intake. I also have a test pipe (illegal in california and currently installed but I will remove to pass smog if neccesarry) two baffels for the invidia exhaust are also included and they really makes the car quiet. One bolt to take each baffel out and the car comes to life, it screams like a banshee and it makes driving with the top down fun so you can hear it at 9k rpms It sounds awesome but not at all whiney or droning like a civic or integra (it never has a coffee can like sound mostly because the Invidia exhaust has duel mufflers for better resonance.) Put the baffels in and it is civilized at that point all you hear is the intake noise which is also phenominal. The AEM intake is powder coated red and it matches the valve cover nicely. I am still suprised how clean the engine is you could most definentaly eat off of it.
It runs strong and is a blast to drive. Like I said I am very sad I have to sell it. I have to buy something that will fit 4 people and will drive in the snow so I will probably end up getting something AWD. Sadly my loss is your gain! This is a perfect car for summer, I have had the top down for almost three weeks now because I know what it's like to have a convertible compaired to just opening the sunroof and rolling down the windows and it doesn't even compair.
I can email pics please let me know as I am highly motivated to sell my car ASAP. I am moving soon and would like to sell it before I leave the area. I am asking 22k cash (Kelly Blue Book estimates value at 21-23k without the intake and exhaust which are easily 1200-1500 installed) but reasonable offers will not be turned down!
I am located in Fontana but I would be willing to drive a reasonable distance to show the car, otherwise email me for pictures I have many of interior, exterior and engine and exhaust.
