FS NY- Pampered 2002 Honda S2000 AP1 w/ original 20k miles in stunning Suzuka Blue Metallic
***Sold back in May. She's been adopted to a good home.***
I am selling my beloved pampered like showroom new 2002 Honda S2000 AP1 with a gentle original 20,200 miles in stunning Suzuka Blue Metallic with matching blue leather interior. Manual 6 speed transmission with F20C inline 4-cylinder DOHC-VTEC engine producing 240 hp and redline at an amazing 9,200 RPM. Fully loaded with full power, cruise control, ABS, HID headlights, air conditioning, and Torsen limited slip differential.
I am an adult non-smoker car enthusiast mechanic second owner (purchased from original owner in 2004) who is meticulous with my vehicles, never driven in bad weather, never raced, never abused, all OEM stock, and always stored covered/garaged. All scheduled maintenance performed - Oil changes are with Synthetic Mobil One once a year and I only use genuine Honda oil filters. All original with no accidents or repairs - not even parking lot door ding or scratch, not stain in the interior, and not a mar on the leather. Only used on sunny weekends and weekend getaways. She is just about as new as from the day she left the Honda showroom floor. The only tasteful upgrades were the genuine Honda Upgrade Air Dam Front Lip ordered in matching Suzuka Metallic Blue ($600 Dealer installed Option), carbon fiber radiator support area cover, and an Alpine CDA-9857 CD, MP3, AM/FM, iPod, headunit (Stock OEM Honda headunit also included). Original documentation and manuals included. This 2002 S2000 AP1 is the super high reving rediculous 9,200 Redline 2.0L 240 Horsepower engine which many S2000 owner/drivers swear by and seek. Comes with glass window as opposed to the problematic plastic ones of earlier years.
I am confident both mechanically and cosmetically she is one of the cleanest, well cared for, un-abused all original low mileage examples of an AP1 S2000 you will find. She has been my baby for 8 memorable years but it is now time to let her go to another good home.
Selling my baby to a good home for $17,650 slightly negotiable.
I am located in NYC with zip of 11209. If shipping is required it will be the responsibility of the buyer.
Cheers!
Now for the pictures (the Suzuka Blue Metallic finish is much more impressive in person as the pics do not do justice. I always get complements on the S2000's color and how factory new it is.

mah1688 - seriously distance is not an issue. There are always car shipping companies such as http://www.dasautoshippers.com and websites that shipping companies compete for bids on such as http://www.uship.com
I purchased a Mazda Miata online from Florida and had it shipped up to NY a few years back and it was only $480. I'm sure you could find a shipper to the west for a few hundred more.
Then there is the pick her up yourself option. I've purchased my NSX in Kentucky online a few years ago, which my friend and I took a weekend to pick up with his Tundra and a trailer. Then recently I purchased a Nismo Z online from a Nissan Dealer in Oregon. I flew in and then I drove her down to LA then back to NY making it a week and half road trip vacation with my buddy. It was a awesome cross country road trip, something I would do again.
I mean I am able to purchase cars online because I feel I do a good job weeding out the Bullshitters and asking for tons of info. Then I either get the car shipped or make it a road trip which is fine for me because I am ok with driving and enjoy driving a fun car. But if you hate driving or cant stand being in a car for 3-4 hours then that's a different story.
Cheers!
