Default FS: Non-Running MY00 S2000 (CHEAP)!

I've just been too busy lately to work on my S2000 (80hr work week) so I'm putting it up for a feeler to see what kind of money is out there. I am not looking for trades, unless its an Evo

Here's the scoop:
I bought this in January in non-running condition and began work when I got home from school in May. The car has a driveshaft/diff from another car along with the motor/trans from another car as the old motor was popped (I presume). I don't know much more about the cars past, and nothing about the swap/dif/etc. I did drain the oil from the motor though and it came out clean.

***The good:***
Super clean body, no rust, major dents, etc. 67k miles
OEM Spoiler
Good condition interior, BRAND NEW, OEM Honda Pass Carpet!
Brand new, 0-mile tires (Sumitomo HTRZ's)
Brand new, 0-mile pads (Axxis Metal Masters)
Resurfaced rotors with 0-miles
Brand new yellow top battery
Every bolt and sensor which I added or replaced I bought brand new, OEM from Honda. I have spent over 900$ in OEM Honda parts, not including the carpet.
Overall, nice looking interior.
Everything that I touched is in place very well and is very sturdy. I do good work.
I'm told it has a clean title

***The bad:***
Windshield has some cracking
Dash has gauge pod holes on drivers
Missing some misc. interior retainers
Driveshaft has 8x1.25 holes, trans has 10x1.25 (unsure as to why)
Clutch pedal won't go to the floor with the trans engaged
trans feels a little sticky into 6th
Soft-top has small knick
Side strakes are missing

***The overall***
All in all, it looks good. If it ran, it'd be one beautiful S! With the right motivation, time, and the right parts, it'd be a great machine within a week or two!

I did a lot to get the car into good condition and it

Sure! The driveshaft itself is fit for an M8 bolt, yet for whatever reason the transmission has holes for an M10. I am not sure why. Bolts up fine in the rear.

The engine/trans/shaft/diff are not from this car and I am not sure at all as to what car they are from. I bought it with those things not installed but included.

The car needs fluids (I will include those I bought for the diff (mobil 1) and trans), and a few misc. bolts. Also, I forgot to mention this in the posting but it also needs a knock sensor and an oil pressure sending unit. I may purchase those today, I'm not sure. To the best of my knowledge, thats it, but of course I have never started the car.

If I have any time to work on it I'm going to, but I just dont see myself finding more than 20 or 30 minutes.

Shoot me a PM or post here with any other questions.

I believe the price is why no one is posting... you can get a nice 00 with 80k miles perfect mechanical for $14. I expect to pay 9k for your car... just 2cents

The answer is the tranny is from a 2004 plus. They take m10 bolts.

From what you described, the car sounds like it has been wet. Do you have a clean or a salvage title?

The tranny is stamped '99 on it, so I'm not too sure?

The car has been wet -- meaning, flooded? I'm sure that that is not the case. As I hear it, this car was previously boosted in '01 on the old motor and the last kid who had it gutted it down to be a racecar.

The title appears to be clean, but I'd have to do a carfax to find out. If someone helped out on that, I'd happily pass along the vin.
