FS: 2003 New Formula Red AP1 S2000, < 13k Miles
I just bought a new BMW 335i, and I'm retiring the S2000.
The details:
- 2003 Honda S2000, New Formula Red
- Located in northern Austin, TX
- No Modifications
- 2nd Owner
- 12,600 Miles
- Always garaged
- One small blemish (covered by touch-up paint) on the driver's side door (tried to catch it in a picture below, but it isn't really visible)
- No mechanical issues whatsoever
- Interior (black leather) is flawless
- Soft top is in great condition with no rips, tears, or wear spots
- Rear glass window is clean and free of any defects
- Last model year of the "real" S2000 (2.0L, 9000 RPM Redline, AP1) with all of the 2002-2003 updates (suspension rate tweaks, glass rear window, component speakers, leather center console)
- Fresh Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil
- Fresh Honda MTF tranny fluid
- Bridgestone S02 tires are low in the back, but still have usable tread. Front tires have 50% or more tread. I recommend replacing the rear tires soon, but I'll let the new owner pick their favorite model.
- Always garaged, driven rarely (5500 miles in the last 18 months)
Kelley Blue Book lists it at $21,800 for "Excellent" condition, and $20,670 in "Good" condition.
I would call this car "excellent" condition, and I'm asking $21,000 for the car. Local dealerships are asking $24,000 or more for the equivalent car at 20k miles or more.
If it sells for $21k, it comes with a Voodoo Titanium shift knob and an uninstalled set of StopTech stainless steel brake lines. Any less, and I'll sell these parts separately.
If you're interested, email me at: mpakes [at] gmail [dot] com with contact information and/or questions.

Well, I'm opening the bidding at 21k, but we'll see what offers roll in. Anyone is welcome to put in an offer, and I'll entertain anything that's reasonable.
I currently have two offers on the table for around 19k, but I believe the car is worth more.
By the way -- pictures to come very soon, my apologies for the wait.

Patience is what you must have. You might have to wait for a few months, but you will get over $21000. I would start it out at around $22500 and go down from there. People here will say you can't get that much, but they always say that. We held out and sold our Ridgeline for exactly what we wanted for it, despite receiving "reasonable" offers for two months.
Definitely list it in Craigslist...maybe even Auto Trader. I listed in Auto Trader and you can renew it indefinitely at no cost. I got tons of calls from both but ultimately sold it from Magnetic door signs we had with "For Sale" and our phone number and just driving it around town as usual.

I've been too busy in the past month to show the car, but my schedule is clearing and it's time to find her a new home.
It's a beautiful car in mint condition at a great price. Please send me an email if you're interested.
