Sad day, but I am selling my S2000. After owning 3 of them over the last 5+ years, it's time to move on to something else.
I bought this car from JDM Joe in ~Sept/October 2011. Joe and myself have both taken extremely good care of the car over the last several years. It has always been garaged in both our ownership, and has only been driven as a weekend car in nice weather. This car is extremely clean with excellent paint (which is routinely clay barred/polished/waxed/etc).
Engine was replaced by Jeff Devos @ Evan's Tuning shortly after I bought the car, due to engine damage from what I believe was oil starvation from the track. A clean, unmodded engine from a 2002 (car was totalled in the rear) was installed by Jeff. Mileage on the engine at the time was only ~1,000 more miles than the car, so ~62k. Valve adjustment and AP2 retainer were installed at the same time, as well as a thorough inspection of the engine. The swap was done properly by Jeff and the engine is super healthy. A baffled oil pan has since been installed.
Synthetic oil has always been used. I've changed the oil twice in my ownership (have only owned it for 5-6,000 miles.) This car has 2 track days and a few autox's, all driven at a newbie level.
2003 GPW with black interior, 66k miles,$17,000. $16,500 (pretty firm on price right now, open to offers but please be reasonable). No trades at all. Car is located in Morristown, NJ.
