FS: 2002 S2k Yellow - Low miles, KPro, Defi Link!
Well, i am sort of making a tough decision here, and wanting to see how this goes... i am trying to purchase some new equipment for my shop that would allow me to do a LOT more stuff, but need more $$ for it... So i'm looking at putting my car up for sale to help pay for it
2002 Spa Yellow S2000
Mileage: 67,100ish
Contact: 352.509.5339
Car in picture does not have the current wheels or wheel spacers installed!
Bad:
- Front Fenders are brand new OEM fenders, but need paint... they are still rocking the oem primer coat...
- Due to rolling the rear fenders to fit massive wheels/tires for racing, the paint is slightly chipped around the lip (can easily be touched up when fenders get painted), and thye body buckled above each wheel well... however it did not crease... it CAN be fixed by the body shop, you just have to DE-roll the wheel arches a bit and pop them back out, and it should be fine again... which isn't tough to do... but i just haven't been able to afford to take it to the body shop to have all this crap done, as it hasn't been a priority at all.
- Small 2.5" long tear in the soft top in the normal spot on the passenger side
- No floor mats
Good:
- The motor is a very good fresh motor... bottom end has a few miles (just over 100k), but when i put it in i tore it down first to inspect it, and the bearings/journals on all mains and rods looked beautiful. The head has less than 15k on it, as it was rebuilt a couple years ago before i started having all my motor problems which led me to put this "new" bottom end in. This motor HAS NOT been raced, run hard, or abused since install... not even autocrossed a single time.
- No rust!
- Practically new Sumitomo HTR tires
- Darn near new clutch
- brand new axles
- New fluids in everything (and i religiously change the oil about every 1500 miles these days for no reason other than to make myself feel better)
- Seats are in good shape... not NEW, but not torn to hell
- A/C freshly recharged and works GREAT!
Trick Parts Included:
- Hondata K-Pro installed (including new valve cover and all the sensors and stuff of course)
- Defi Link Gauge System (amber) (Oil Pressure and Fuel Pressure)
- AP2 V2's Powdercoated Gray, but if you want and pay for it, i can powder them any color you want here at the shop.
- 20mm? wheel spacers on all 4 corners to fill in the wheel wells.... looks awesome!
- ARP Extended Racing Wheel Studs on all 4 corners
- Chase Race Removable Trailer Hitch! No longer is your car impractical! haha!
- Custom Fabricated Intake Manifold
- Momo Steering Wheel with custom cruise control bracket (i do have the stocker with airbag as well)
- AP2 Radio Door
- Koni Yellow single-adjustable shocks with Ground Control Coilover Sleeves
- Modified stock exhaust for low weight and great sound...
- Clutch is an OEM disk with a Competition Clutch Stage 2 Pressure Plate
- BlackStar Shift Knob
- G-force? Belt Buckle Attachement for racing (keeps your belt from looseneing, and keeps your tail in the seat)
This would be a GREAT base car for a turbo setup, or going racing since it has the K-Pro installed and running!
KBB stock value says:
Excellent $12,750
Good $12,075
Fair $10,925
i'm asking $11,500obo - NEW LOWER PRICE!!!
I AM willing to remove parts to help lower the price some, i'll just sell them separately... the only thing that is not removable easily is the KPro and the Wheel studs !

To those PMing me asking about the K-Pro... it is waaaay too integrated to the car to just "pull it out" and sell it. I don't have the time these days to pull the sensors, reinstall the blower, chrcoal cansiter, etc and revert back to oem. It'll go along with the car.
And again, i'll get some pics when i get back to town.
Here is a pic of what the interior looks like with the gauges...
And heres what the ported/polished custom fabricated intake manifold looks like...
The inside all looking pretty:
The manifold with the fabricated aluminum plenum:
In the engine bay (note: The current throttle body and intake tube in the car is OEM... the billet one shown, and the large CAI tube is not installed anymore)
