Hey Strike - if I say anything bad about someone's offer (crappy lowball offer), i get a lecture........ if someone else does it (it needed done anyway), they get away with it. ?

What gives?

I just traded my 2001 with 15,500 for $23.5k on my Evolution...plus with trading, I saved all of the sales tax (6%) on that 23,500.

If i can trade mine in for $23,500 and it is a year old with plastic window, surely this guy can get more than $23k for his.....

It is but it was a gift from my sister and she'd be pissed if I didn't go. I didn't even know about 'Wake the Dragon' until two days ago. I'm sure you all are going to have a great time. Nice shirts, by the way. Sal

Do you all (Scot) not learn the first time?. If you are not buying, then do not comment. People can make any kind of offer they want, the seller may not take it, but that is the seller's option.

And scot, why are you not out enjoying your MSRP, top up only, fast economy car?

Blackmoon,

I just made an offer, why did you have to insult me with your childish comment?? You have'nt sold the car yet have you?? So, obviously your price must be too high for any serious buyer to show interest, especially when you can buy a brand new one for $30k.....

Hey now...... There should be a rule against offering below "blue book wholesale" (and/ or carmax value) on any car...moderators..please enforce new rule.

I was out dragracing my Cobra mustang today...... and... it seems pretty fast (i posted in the Car Talk section).

Tebb - that was not a very serious offer and you know that. That was below what carmax would pay... no one should be that desperate to sell a car below what they could drive to carmax and get.

Just my opinion.

Scot

Tebb, I don't think the coment was childish, I think your offer was. The price is very reasonable and I probably won't sell it for less than 27K. I'll just keep it and enjoy it for another year. I don't need to sell the car. I just want to sell a few cars to move into my new home without renting storage.

If you were a real 'buyer' and could afford such an awesome car you would have made a serious offer. Please stay off my thread if you have nothing mature to say.

Thanks
