FS: 2000 Berlina Black S2000 -82k Miles
Selling my Berlina Black S2000 with red/black interior. I am the second owner of the car, but I have to sell it because I do not use it often, and I need to find a snow capable car. It is in great condition, and has never seen the track or an autocross course. Clean title and clean carfax.
The car has always been garaged, and is meticulously cared for. I fully detail it 2 or 3 times a year, and wash at least once a week, it is hardly ever dirty. The last was buff/polish/leather care was 2 months ago, at that time I also put a new battery in it. It is fully stock except for a K&N air filter, and an alpine head unit and iPod connection. I also installed the dash controller kit (so the head unit can be controlled from the stock panel). It also has the factory 6 disk changer.
All routine maintenance is performed by me. Oil changed every 5k with Redline 10w-30, transmission with Honda MTF, and differential with LE1605. Rotors and pads I replaced 2 months ago. Any other maintenance was performed by a Honda mechanic, most recently the valves were adjusted at 70k miles. The car just passed Maryland registration on Sept 21, and was previously inspected in August for a trip. The windshield is brand new, as a crack in my previous one wouldn't pass inspection. The convertible top was replaced in June 2011, it is an OEM replacement with the glass window which seals perfectly. Current tires are Hankook Ventus RS3s with about 75% tread up front and 50% in the rear.
The car comes with wheel locks, and seat locks, which I have both keys for.
Only two small issues with the car, the drivers seat bolster is showing some wear along with the seat surface. There is also about a 1/2" curb mark on the rear drivers side wheel. The car is a model year 2000, and it has the clutch buzz that the first S2000s had, but the clutch functions perfectly.
Price: 12k/OBO, I am not interested in trades. You can reach me for questions or if you would like additional information via PM, or send an email to jrshaw24@gmail.com
