DFW: 2005 Honda S2000 for Sale
I got a new job at the first of the year and the commute is approximately 30 miles each way. It's against traffic both ways, but since I leased this car with a 12k mile/year limit, I've put myself in a situation where I will end up going quite a bit over the mileage.
So, I'm going to feel the market for a very clean 2005 Honda silverstone/black S2000.
Specs:
2005 Honda S2000 silverstone/black
22.5k miles
$22.5k takes it.
Car runs incredibly well, zero oil burn, Mobil 1 synthetic oil changes, and relatively new (less than 5k miles) Bridgestone Potenza RE050A's 225 front/255 rear tires.
Only issue are a few rock chips up front. One is fairly big, but could probably be fixed with some expertly applied touchup paint and wax. The rest of the them are easily fixed with touchup paint. Rest of the car is in good shape, no door dings, etc. Car runs great, feels as new.
It's not the end of the world if I get the keep the car, I may just be subject to a significant mileage penalty if I keep it to the end of the lease.

P.S. May sell hardtop separately for $2,000 with hardware (I will do the swap at my house for the $2K).
I know it's a pain in the @$$, but are you willing to ship?

Guys (and maybe any gals),
I am going to try to sell the car with the hardtop for the $25k. If I can't over a few month time frame, I will sell the hardtop separately.
I think the car is superb with the hardtop. It looks great, is quieter on the highway, and really gives the car a more sophisticated feel due to the reduced wind noise.
Anyway, I know how to maintain cars and this car is in great shape. I always warm the motor fully before VTEC, I know how to shift smoothly, I never ride the clutch, frequent synthetic oil changes, brake fluid flush with Motul, and I even have some new factory brake pads because they are getting a little low after 19k+ miles.
Any questions or comments, post here or PM me.
Thanks,
Corey
