! Caged AP1 price reduction $13,000 !
Up for sale is my S2000 which has just been completed to race ITR with scca. After building countless Spec Miata’s, we wanted to try something different. The entire project concentrated on, of course safety and reliability while being a great entry level car to start racing. Another option would be lapping days without fear of tearing up your pride and joy on the track.
The car is a 2002 model year with 162k miles. The interior is completely gutted with a full 8 point cage with Nascar door bars extending into the inner door shells. Cage will fit with an OEM hardtop if you like, as one was used during construction. Also inside are a master kill switch, fire bottle, FIA cam lock harnesses, Sparco wheel, mesh window net with single point release, etc, etc. A passenger seat can be added as the ballast weights are completely removable.
Suspension consists of 32 way single adjustable shocks with coilovers and pillow ball upper mounts. Spring rates are 12kg in the front and 14kg in the rear.
Brakes are Hawk DTC 60’s up front with HT10’s in the rear and stainless lines.
Wheels are ASA 17 x 8 45mm offset front and rear wrapped with 245/40/17 Goodyear eagle rs DOT race tires for the dry.
Everything above is brand new with zero time.
Oem 16 inch wheels are wrapped with 225/50/16 Goodyear Gatorback VR50S race tires for the wet.
The engine, trans and diff are all stock. The engine is very strong with Compression numbers at 245 psi across the board. The car makes 205hp at the wheels with the stock ecu, exhaust manifold, air box, etc, etc. Only the exhaust has been changed with a custom 70mm single exit system with a silencer for noise restrictions at certain venues.
The trans and new clutch shift and engage as they should with zero issues as well as the diff.
The seat is the only item not included but can be added.
Price is $13,000.
