CA - 2005 S2000 - 57k miles, super clean, tons of photos

Up for sale is my 2005 S2000 with 57,8XX miles and clean title in hand. The car is in pristine condition, adult owned, garage-kept, and I have never tracked, raced, or abused it. Anyone who knows me will tell you I have an almost unhealthy obsession about keeping this car nice.
This is the second S2000 I have owned, and as you might guess from the age of this S2Ki account, I know these cars pretty well. I owned my first '00 S2000 for four years before I had to let it go to buy a work vehicle. After several years and several other cars, I decided to come back to the S2000 - it has a way of sticking with you.
I am the third owner of this car. The first owner was an older gentleman in Utah, and the second owner brought it to California in 2014 and drove it for about a year before I bought it from him. I work from home and typically drive the car a few times a month on weekends, so the mileage has stayed very low.
I planned to hold onto the car indefinitely, but I'm realizing that family responsibilities have made that impossible. I hate to let my S2000 go, but it's time to pass it on to a new owner who will enjoy it as much as I have, and hopefully continue to take great care of it. No expense was spared on this car, and all maintenance has been taken care of ahead of schedule.
EXTERIOR
The Silverstone Silver Metallic paint and body work is in great condition. All body panels are original with matching VINs, except the rear bumper, which was replaced and repainted due to a car bumping me at 5mph in traffic (nothing but the bumper cover was damaged). Carfax will reflect this, and I have the body shop receipt for the repair.
During my ownership, the car has never gone through an automatic car wash. I hand-wash and wax it using high-quality detailing products. The photos speak for themselves in this regard, but please feel free to come see for yourself.
- Genuine Honda front lip spoiler, trunk spoiler
- Genuine Honda hard top strikers (prevent wind noise at freeway speeds) and rear window defroster harness (for use with hard top)
- NEW Robbins canvas soft top installed by Prestige Auto Upholstery in Anaheim - better than the original vinyl top in every way
- 17-inch Enkei RPF1 wheels with special-ordered Honda center caps and Gorilla wheel locks
- 245/40R17 Hankook Ventus V12 Evo 2 summer tires with tons of tread left
- Professionally-rolled fenders for tire clearance - no rubbing or scraping, even on the freeway. Paint is cracked on the lip of the driver's side front fender due to the roll, but it's not really noticeable unless you're looking for it.
- Genuine Honda front license plate mount plugs in Silverstone Silver Metallic
- OPTIONAL: I have a matching silver OEM Honda aluminum hard top for this car. It's not included in this listing, but if you're interested, let me know. Otherwise I'll sell it separately.
INTERIOR
The car's interior is also in excellent condition with a few small upgrades. I will include two keys, two remotes, the original owner's manual and documentation, and a front license plate.
- Clazzio leather seat covers - These S2000-specific covers fit great and protect the seats from wear, so the underlying leather seats are still in great shape. A pair of these covers costs $400.
- Rick's Luxury S2000 floor mats
- Voodoo counter-sunk aluminum shift knob with brushed finish
- Kenwood stereo head unit with USB input and Bluetooth. Microphone mounted to A-pillar for hands-free calls.
- All interior bulbs converted to LED
PERFORMANCE
The 2.2L engine and 6-speed transmission are both in outstanding condition. Engine compression is strong and even, and it doesn't burn a drop of oil between changes. I change the oil with 10W30 synthetic every 3,000 miles. The transmission shifts like new and doesn't have any issues with grinding or popping out of gear.
The car has been carefully maintained and needs nothing. I'll provide a stack of service records and receipts for the following maintenance work:
- Recent valve adjustment by AutoWave, an S2000/NSX specialist
- All new fluids (transmission, differential, clutch, brakes)
- New NGK spark plugs
- Ballade Sports timing chain tensioner and timing gear
- New Genuine Honda serpentine belt tensioner (the old one squeaked a little)
- New OEM-spec Exedy clutch, ACT lightweight flywheel, ACT street pressure plate, clutch bearings, and Genuine Honda clutch master cylinder
There are also a few subtle performance upgrades. These are all top-of-the-line parts, and they noticeably improve the feel and driving experience on the street. I don't track the car, so I kept these upgrades conservative.
- K&N FIPK intake with CARB sticker (will pass a California smog check)
- Ballade Sports 70mm throttle body - aids intake airflow and greatly improves throttle response
- HKS Super Sound Master cat-back exhaust system - I feel this is the best exhaust you can buy for a street-driven S2000, bar none. It sounds awesome, it's not overly loud, and it has NO DRONE at any RPM. It cost $2,000 and the welds are a work of art. I invite you to come hear it for yourself.
- KW Variant 3 coilover suspension with ride height and damping adjusted for street use (I can also include the car's original suspension)
- Performance alignment by Ballade Sports
