Glad to see so many Boilers up on this site ~ just shows we all share great taste in cars!
The IS-F has only (4) Bucket seats meaning the middle rear is just a plastic shell. Our daughter is an infant and needs to be rear facing so at the required angles for a baby, that means the baby seat takes up a huge a amount of leg room. If you are short I guess it's ok but for me at 6'2, I need my seat almost all the way back and same for my passenger so that means very tight spaces.
I love the IS-F but I think Lexus engineers are dumb for not putting in a middle seat with child anchors. It's generally accepted it's safest to put your baby in the middle seat so not having it is a bad idea. As I've said before the IS-F is an awesome car with super reliability but there's 2 things that bug me: No folding rear seats and the missing middle seat.
I would like to sell this car and pick up a Cayenne or something that can seat at least 5 people and retain some sportiness. I've had this car for a few years now so time for it to go to someone who will take good care of her. She's absolutely perfect
