I also forgot to mention that the radio shortcut buttons to the left of the steering wheel are still functional with the aftermarket headunit; I had my installer run the necessary wiring to keep the controls functioning the same.

Thanks,

Good luck, price is a bit high though. Dealers are clearing out their left over 06's at 29.9 brand new and 07's are only slightly more. My dad picked up an 06 this past october with 2500 miles on it for 26.5

27.5 is a good offer price. It's actually a pretty good negotiated price (which is what you're mistakenly comparing it to). If this car was Silverstone and closer to me I would pay 27.5 and smile.

There's going to be price variablity, not everyone has the same tax burdens across the country, so comparing a private party car to a dealer car is not valid. In GA, for instance a private party car is tax free, but a leftover '06 on the dealer's lot will mean an extra $2k in taxes.

Thanks for the feedback about other costs incurred when purchasing a vehicle. If course several thousand dollars more will get a leftover '06 or that plus a couple of more grand will get you a new (discounted) '07, but at some point, you really have to ask yourself if the additional money spent is worth the "newness."

For some people, it is worth several thousand dollars to have that "first person to drive it off the lot" feeling (I know it was for me). For others, that feeling is not as good as the feeling of having a little more money in the savings account. Which is why many saavy car buyers look for vehicles exactly like mine - new car feel and used car pricing.
