Yeah, of course. When I bought the car I had verified that it was a clean title car and that it had not been under boost at any point. Those were my two big sticking points. Well, about 3 months in to ownership I started to feel like the car was down on power. My first step was to run some diagnostics with a couple other members of my local s2Ki club. We realized that the 3rd cylinder was down on compression and through a leak-down test confimred that it was from a worn cylinder guide. As you guys know, this is a very common problem for S2k's and esspecially with AP2s from what I'm told. At that point I took the head to a machine shop, had the head measured and machined back to perfect oem specs, then replaced the stock valve guides with stronger bronze guides. The engine now runs extremely well and compression tests show 240 accross the board.
For peace of mind, the machine shop I used for the work is the same shop that does work for SOS. Needless to say they have experience with S2K's.
Let me know if you guys have any other questions.
