Good looking car. Any accidents of any kind? Any leaks of any kind? Who disassembled and reassembled the car? Do you have maintenance records? Could you also elaborate on why the car was repainted along with why a new windshield and top. Thank you for your time.

Bump.....plus answers to the questions I get
I am the third owner, I have pics of the VIN on the various panels and they match.
I have all the service records for me and the prior owner.
Why was the top replaced and why did I repainted the entire car?
I get this question a lot. The top was replaced because it was coming to the end of its best days. The car was built 10 years ago and the tops don't last forever. I think people believe that there must have been a wreck or some massive disaster that I'm hiding. There isn't. The top was replaced by the prior owner when he listed it for sale to help on the asking price and it did help.
When I bought the car it had no factory extras. I bought the lip, strikes, and spoiler. Those pieces have to be painted before they are installed. That would have meant brand new paint on the front, middle, and rear of the car. If I ever wanted to redo it, this was the logical time. We were adding on to our home when I got it and my garage was temporarily out of commission. That meant I was not in a rush and it was a little less expensive to not put the shop in a spot for time.
Why is the car still for sale/ why are you selling it?
These are overlapping answers. The car hasn't been listed for sale anywhere else. No craigslist, no eBay, no newspapers. I do want to sell it, but I'm not desperate or in a rush, and I don't have to sell it. I live in southwest Arkansas. Four hours from Dallas. 6 from Oklahoma City. 7 from New Orleans. It isn't close to a big population center. The emails I get tend to be from the coasts. East or West, not much in the middle. People have considered flying and drive it back, or have a carrying service trailer it covered to them (the farest place I've checked for a price was SF Bay Area, cost was about 650.
It is too nice of a car for me to let just sit. I have two kids now and taking them both for a ride isn't even an option. So I'm looking for a bigger fun car. But like I said, it isn't listed anywhere else. Any questions I get from people here are good questions, not "what is an S2000" or "is that like a Miata?"
Hope that answers some questions you might have.. Price is pretty firm. It's going up in value now, not down, so if there is a buyer, there is a buyer. If not, I'm ok keeping it.

Bump.
As I mentioned, Spring time and I'm going to be expanding the listing beyond S2ki in a bit.
I haven't real really tried to sell except for a couple of replies to an email or two from my January post
Read to go, excellent car, well maintained, ask any questions

Bump...
Got a few questions about the mechanical aspects of car, cosmetically it's perfect, engines aren't a "tell by looking" kinda thing.
So I just took the car to Orr Honda of Texarkana, Texas, and had the entire span of tests to certify the car by Honda for the "certified pre-owned" program. Passed with flying colors. Results available
Price is pretty firm, they don't do those tests for free.
Thanks,
Billy
