This car was just appraised by Bankston Honda for a trade-in value of 16k, mainly due to damaged and fixed front bumper/ left fender from the spinout. It also has a key mark on driver's side and a 6 inch "repaired" (filled for safety) crack on the windshield. The tires are worn and mismatched. There is a TINY upward dent on the trunk probably caused by previous owner golf club.
So you know, the costs to fix:
Key Mark: appraised at 635.00
Dent-Doc: 75.00
Windshield Replacement 225.00
4 Kumho SPT's mount/bal 400.00
The car is mechanically great, the interior is great, and the body is straight. I will consider 17,000.00 for the car, which is basically trade-in and my would-be tax advantage.
NO LOWER than 17K !!! (BTW, I owe 20,200 so I am already having to take a signature loan for the difference if someone buys the car)
