Car History
This car has no stories, no bodywork, no repairs of any kind ever. I have literally never had to do any work to this car other than scheduled maintenance and filling up the gas tank. In true Honda fashion, this car has been flawless.
This car has been my daily driver for the last 6 years. I am the second owner. The first owner was a middle aged woman who was married to a car guy and it was her second car. She put less than 10k miles on it in 2 years and they changed the oil about every 1000 miles b/c it was hardly driven (no kidding, I have the receipts).
Condition
I am pretty OCD about my cars. Oil changed every 3000 miles with Castrol Synthetic/Honda filter. Tranny Fluid every 15,000 miles with Honda MTF. Rear Diff Fluid every 15,000 miles with Mobil Synthetic. I do all of my own fluid changes, so they have been done on time and done correctly.
Washed at least once a month with Pinnacle Shampoo and waxed with P21S. Interior cleaned with Lexol Vinylex/Leather cleaner/leather condition. Top treated with Vinylex.
The car is as clean as a 40k mile daily driver can be. It has no exterior dings or scrapes. Just the usual front end chips for a daily driver. I would rate the exterior a 8.5/10 (for the rock chips on the front bumper) and the interior a 9/10.
If you are looking for an extremely clean and impeccably maintained used AP1 S2000 that is unmolested, has been well cared for, and adult driven--with all the peace of mind that entails--you probably wont find a better deal.
