Default 2001 Spa S2000 - MUST SELL

Hey guys; it's with a heavy heart that I list my beloved S2K- but hoping I can get it to someone on the board that will appreciate it.

What it is:
2001
105k Freeway Miles [Was used for 60 mile commute]
Spa Yellow Exterior
Black Leather Interior
Leather Center Console [Ricks]
S Badge on Hood [Ricks]
2006 AP2 Wheels [5k on them]
Alpine CD/MP3/iPod Fullspeed Deck
Alphasonik Sub and Amp [GB from s2ki w/ fitted enclosure and cover]
4.57R Diff

What's been done:
Oil changes every 5k with Mobil 1 full synthetic and PCX filter
Diff fluid every 15k with Mobil 1 or Redline
Trans fluid every 20k with GMSMF
Valve adjusts every 25k with inspection of retainers
Spark plugs every 25k
Professionally detailed every 3 months
Tires within the last 3k miles
Clutch / PP / TOB at 75k miles
Timing Chain Tensioners at 90k miles
MAP Sensor at 90k miles
Battery / Alternator at 100k miles
Soft Top at 100k miles

That said, I wouldn't hesitate to drive the car across the country and back again TOMORROW- but I've moved out of the country and what was originally going to be six months may now be permanent. If they didn't drive on the opposite side of the road in New Zealand I'd just ship it over- but they do so have to start looking for one in Japan.

The car is located in Redding, CA [96003] but I will be driving it from there to LA on June 3rd and will be in LA until June 10th. I'd like to sell during that time if possible.

Looking to get $14.5k OBO.

HARDTOP NOT INCLUDED.

Hi Im looking to buy a yellow s2000 within the next month or so, actually june 10th sounds great. when you say things you had done to it and listed soft top at 100K does that mean you replaced it with a new one that has a glass rear window or does it have the stock one or you just got that hard one on the picture? also, with your 4.57 rear diff what kind of differences are you seeing? What milage do you get? can you put up some shots of the interior? Is the suspension stock? the exhaust? talk to me. oh and yes I live in Orange County. How long have you owned the car? thanks,
Erik

Top was replaced with a new plastic window soft top at 100k.
4.57R is a great mod, especially non-aspirated; it'll do 25mpg or so on the freeway, around town really depends on how you're driving it.
Suspension is stock.
Exhaust-- the resonator has been cut out, and I've got the Berk Test Pipe installed. (Haven't had a check engine light EVER) I'll also include the original cat which is still in perfect condition.
Will work on getting some interior shots, but kinda hard because I'm in NZ and the car is at home in USA. The interior is in perfect condition, with deep pile mats, the driver seat left side bolster is a bit out of shape though. (Pretty common)

I've owned the car since October of 05- I bought it from a local dealer with 57k miles on it. (I told you, I loved driving this car)

Hardtop already sold, sorry!

That sound good, a couple of questions though, why is the 4.57r a great mod? I want 20mpg around town will it get me that if im not racing everything that moves? Also, some pix of the sub and interior would be great since I have no idea what a (Ricks) leather center console looks like. Keep me posted though.

48K miles in 2 years, wow you did love to drive that car.

It's a great mod because it makes around town cruising a lot more enjoyable- the gears are all shorter so pulling off and whatnot is done with much less effort. 20mpg around town is definitely doable if you're not flogging it everywhere. Will work on getting some pics of interior and sub.
