ummm... just look around .. 01 M3s coming of 3 yr leases now all have residuals of ~60% from MSRP, that's 30k-33k, and those are cherry too w/o high mileage

I'd take the M3, but the price listed is a bit high. Old cars give you shit load of trouble.

M3's are not that rare. Don't get me wrong good price for a retail sale for sure. But, with dealer connections they are not too hard to find. Even some owners like yourself let low mileage cars go for cheap too. A BMW store would give you $30k for the car.
