2000 Track Prepped S2000 kpro/4.77 rear
SOLD SOLD
I've been going back and forth about what I want to do with this car. It started its life with me as a worn out, beat up, neglected beater that needed virtually everything inspected. I picked the car up from Indiana and the only positive was the price and overall body condition (no rust). Everything else needed repair. This car has been my track toy since day one so looks was never all that important to me. I plastidipped the car so that the front bumper didnt look like hell and the rear bumper didnt show its age. Its not the most amazing example f a dip job, but shows well from 10 feet. I get compliments on the color frequently.
Being a track car, this thing has always been garage kept, only driven to and from the track and has always been maintained to the utmost level of care. Oil changed after each event. Here is the list of mods:
Engine:
internally stock F20C motor with 57,000 miles on it.
New chain tensioner
PLM header
2.5" custom exhaust
V3 Kpro with an amazing tune
215whp, 140wtq redline at 9000rpm
has newer valve springs and retainers
Hassport Mounts
Transmission:
AP2 transmission pulled out of a car with 50K miles (I believe it was an 05 that the trans was pulled from)
Trans was rebuilt from 1st gear to 3rd gear. New bearings, synchros and collars. Shifts perfect!
Ap1 Diff with professionally installed 4.77 ring and pinion gear (upgraded collars and crush washers)
yellow jacket mod to correct for the speedo (mph reading is 100% accurate)
Competition stage 4 clutch (6 puck) roughly 5K miles
Fidanza 11lbs flywheel
Suspension:
Stance 11K front and 9K rear coilovers. Have roughly 5K miles on them. Corner balanced
Front/rear SPC camber kit
Alignment is more geared toward the track with 2.5* or camber in the front but this can be dialed out.
All bushings have been replaced with either new oem or urethane rubber
Brakes:
Carbotech front and rear pads (front X12 and rear X8)
Brembo blank rotors front and rear
braided lines all around
Stops extremely well
Cooling
Koyo triple core radiator
Setrab 25 row oil cooler
Mishimoto oil cooler adapter
Interior
car has 4 gauges for all the engines vitals:
oil pressure
oil temp
water temp
wideband air/fuel gauge (you can tell exactly how well the tune performs)
Momo mod 28 suede 320mm steering wheel
NRG quick release adapter
Sparco Pro 2000 seat (compliant until 2020)
Crow 5 point harness (camlock style)
A good amount of the interior was removed (nothing that makes the car look terrible) The whole truck was gutted and some plastic trim was removed
Exterior:
Mugen Rep carbon Fiber Hard Top
NO soft top
Black plastid
AP2 v1 wheels with StarSpec v2 tires (tons of life left) 225 front and 255 rear, lots of grip
This car may not look like the best S2000 out there, I know it needs love. If you are looking for a show stopper, look elsewhere, but if you are looking for a turn key track toy that also handles road driving, this is it! I've already had people send low ball offers of 7500 and so on. Please try to understand that you can buy a $6000 beat to hell S2000 and spend another $7000 trying to get it to this level and still not be there. I feel that this car at 10K is a deal, but cash talks so please dont be shy to call.
Thank You for your interest.
