I'll be moving into a new place this weekend but I may swing on by and check things out. Its been about a year since I had the rear end nut replaced and torqued up and its starting to clank again.

I got a seat if needed - think I'll be riding around by myself, bit of a joyride down from where I live (n. charlotte - university area)

as far as what's local on Independence.. there's loads of fast food, a sushi restaurant about 10 min drive away, erm... well it's close(ish) to south park mall, there's a really really good harris teeter if you're looking for cheap, loads of freshly-made stuff... erm a p.f. changs, a dean and deluca cafe/restaurant thing, loads of stuff!

I just moved to the area but this is what I know of so far, anyone who has lived here longer can probably give better advice.

 

We normally end up at the Tavern but I think a location somewhere on Independance would be better. Guess we will have to wait until the locals jump back online...

 

depends on what your lookin for but there is all sorts of food on independence, plenty to choose from 5 miles either way from crown

 

Taven on the Tracks sounds like a good idea

Charlotte's confusing to me too...
I've made it to the Tavern a few times now, but I'm sure I'm go'n the long way to get there...

 

I can navigate Charleston's one way streets better than Charlotte. I know Independance and thats about it.
