WTB Ap1/AP2 wheels
#12
i'm glad you decided to go with the AP1 wheels. i thought those would work better for you than AP2 wheels anyway.
When are you going to the dragstrip (and what dragstrip?)
i would like to go too, and see how you do, and maybe we can do a head to head race to see how badly my NA S2K gets smoked by your Fighter Jet
Btw, did you also get an upgraded differential? Based on my understanding, if you that seems to be the weakest link when you start drag racing.
Take care,
Yoel.

Yoel I sent you a text, but i'll be going to the greer dragstrip most likely. I used to race there weekly when I had my old cobra so its sort of my home track. I'm gonna put in the new clutch this week and i've got to get a set of mickey thompson's for the wheels so it'll prabably be about 2 weeks before I head up there. They run the test and tune on thursdays until thanksgiving so i've got a little time left this year. As far as the rear end i'm installing Hasport 70A diff mounts and some one piece axe spacers to keep the wheel hop at bay. Should help the diff live a little longer. If it blows I guess i'll go a different route in the future, but I think it will be fine. I'll post it up when i'm going maybe we can get a few more guys to join us. See who can launch the car the best. My best time NA was a 9.27 when the car was completely stock. Im hoping to hit a high 7/low 8 this time around. We'll see. The old cobra turned a 7.60 with about the same power as my s has now but it was lots heavier, so it should do well.
