WOW, Just got back from vacation, sorry to hear about everything that has happened to you. Glad your on the mend.

You can take your time repaying the $3,000 that you owe me. You remember that right!!

hehe Good Luck.

Damn, very sorry to hear you go through this. It is scary how similiar this accident relates to the one I suffered about 3 months ago in a 93-SrV. I don't remember how the accident happened as well. The surgeon who perform Emerg surgery on my arm and clavicle mentioned that I had a slight bruise to the brain which caused the memory loss. Thankfully, no one else was involved and the officer mentioned witnesses stating I wasn't speeding. I simply hit a major groove in the road and the car hydroplaned...

Everyday I try to conjure up my memory and recall what happened, but I can't. My doc said if you don't remember what happened after the first 30 days of the accident, there is a very good chance you won't remember.

I know how much you miss your car, but at the end of the day, that's all it is....A car.
Be thankful that you were able to walk out alive and relatively unharmed.

Personally, I found my accident to be a sign as I took delivery on my S2K about 3 months ago and drive ever so carefully. Had I not suffered the accident with the lude, I might have suffered a worse accident in the S2K.

For whatever it's worth, take this a positive sign that you're still alive and things could have been much, MUCH worse!

Take care,

Thank God you are OK. I hope you will be better soon. For many on this board, the S2000 has proven to be a very safe car considering it's size and weight.

Here is an update... My car was pronounced dead at 12:21 est. on July 10th, 2002.. The frame was bent very very badly so they didnt even bother with it anymore. Now lets just see how bad I get ripped off.
