I'm from Atlanta, but I'm purchasing a MY04 from a guy in Raleigh. I want to get the car checked out, but I don't know the area. I suppose I can take it to a dealer. The closest ones are Auto Park Honda and Leith Honda. Any suggestions?

I think there is also a Crown Honda in Durham off 40, that may be close too. There are three S's for sale that I've seen in Greensboro, a new nfr 05 for about 30, and two Silverstones - one new, one used.

 

I agree, the best place is Crown Honda off 40, the exit is 294 I believe. I bought my S2k from there. The second choice will be the one on Capital blvd but that is further away. I will stay away from those dealership from Cary Auto Park Honda, did not have good experiences there ever.

 

Tao Auto (not a dealer) is nearby, but sort of hard to find. They are a popular service shop that specializes in Hondas. I haven't taken my S there, but have taken the GS-R and the wife's Civic many times. They are certainly very knowledgable about those more popular models. Not sure if they have anyone there that knows about the stook.

 

Leith Honda on Capital Blvd has been servicing my 1996 Honda Accord EX since 1997. And after searching for my S2K for two years, it was Leith Honda on Capital how gave me the best deal on the car. Now, since they service both of my Hondas, I would say it is worth the ride over to Capital Blvd to get the car checked out.
