What's the best (quickest) route from Charlotte to Raleigh? (road construction, etc.)

Well, far be it for me complain when Sheila says i'm right. But yeah, Pisgah is not along that route. And yes it is slower driving/shorter milage. But a more enjoyable drive as u keep entertained w/the constant passing of slow pokes!!

Driving my 97 Civic, I'd be the one being passed, as it needs 5 miles to pick up enough speed to pass someone
I will have to take that route sometime, in the S, but this trip was for time, since I drove both ways in one day.
The interstates were clear & fine, and the Titanic exhibit was good, although I'm not sure I'd recomend driving 3 hours one way to see it.
