What is with the snow this winter?

Ron took these from INSIDE the house this morning...Wlll post more after going outside today. (That may be awhile!) It's nice inside with a fire, coffee and a laptop.
The BIG DECK is buried:
My feeble attempt at a snowman (railman) from yesterday (only 6-8" then):
Can't see the cars from here, just 2 white mounds in the driveway!

Man, Bettis is having a BLAST! Looks like Huskergirl and Huskerhubby are doing the same!
Ron and Sheila, that's a great looking snowman.
And I love the TL-S in the background. Very sharp!
I'd lose Noki (our chihuahua) if we had that kind of snow!
